The Ogle County Sheriffs Office responded to a burglar alarm Wednesday morning just after 11 o'clock at a residence in the 8000 block of McGregor Road, just south of the Winnebago County line. With assistance from the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office, deputies stopped a vehicle that was seen leaving the area. After a short investigation deputies arrested 52 year old Terry Yoho of Loves park for residentail burglary. Yoho was taken to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond pending a court appearance.
On Thursday afternoon at 3:11, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on I-39 at mile marker 100. After an investigation, deputies arrested 25 year old Ola Adekoya, of Dekalb, for driving While License Suspended and speeding. Adekoya was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
Thursday night at 9:20 pm, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies and LSR Fire Department responded to a 2 vehicle crash at Rt 64 and Lynville Rd. Investigation by Deputies revealed that a Jeep driven by 27 year old Courtney Scott, of Rochelle, was traveling south on Lynville Rd and failed to stop for the stop sign at the Rt 64 intersection. As a result the Jeep struck a Honda driven by 25 year old Amanda Samo, of Rochelle, which was traveling west on Rt 64. Samo and her passenger, 28 year old Bryan Bower, of Rochelle, were transported by LSR Ambulance to Rochelle Hospital for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. Scott was cited for disobeying a stop sign.
Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 pm, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop in Rolling Greens Trailer Park. After an investigation, Deputies arrested 31 year old Michael Tilton, of Rochelle, on an outstanding Ogle County Failure to Appear Warrant on a theft charge. Tilton was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in Lieu of Bond.
