2 Oregon residents returned to Ogle County court Friday for arraignments following a drug bust last Tuesday in Daysville.
29-year old Richard Gallagher was arrested on the charge of unlawful possession with the intent to deliver cannabis along with possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of firearm ammunition by a felon.
22-year old Brooke Lozano was also arrested on the charge of unlawful possession of cannabis, 30 to 500 grams, along with possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
Police executed the search warrant in the 2,000 block of South 2nd Street in Daysville. They seized around 86 grams of cannabis along with numerous items of drug paraphernalia, digital scales, and firearm ammunition.
In court yesterday, bond remains at $50,000 for Gallagher. He returns to court on March 13th for a preliminary hearing. At that time, he will plead guilty or innocent to the charges. Gallagher remains in jail today in lieu of bond.
The Ogle County judge reduced Lozano's bond from $25,000 to $5,000 in which she posted 10 percent of that figure. She returns to court on March 20th for a preliminary hearing.
