After 15 months at loggerheads, Gov. Pat Quinn and the state's largest employee union have come to terms on a new three-year contract. The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees announced the deal, but didn't release details. Quinn had been demanding a wage freeze and higher health insurance payments, and the union in recent days had been telling its 35-thousand members to prepare for a strike. The ratification process begins next week.
