State money for abused kids

The Department of Children and family Services plans to implement programs to protect abused and neglected kids with the money it's getting from the state. They're getting 25-million dollars to hire more people to investigate cases of child abuse and neglect. Some of the money will also license daycare facilities, help place kids in loving adoptive homes, and kick off recruiting efforts for foster care. DCFS Spokesman Dave Clarkin says the goal of that campaign is to recruit more people who are willing to take in multiple kids. That way can stay together
