Governor Quinn defends minimum wage increase

Governor Quinn is defending his proposal to boost minimum wage. He says giving low-income workers a modest raise over four years will boost the state's economy and create jobs. Quinn wants the minimum wage to be raised to ten bucks an hour within the next four years. Business leaders and GOP lawmakers say that will hurt the Illinois economy and put people out of work.
