Boone County officials have released the name of the man who was killed in a car vs semi-truck crash Monday at the intersection of Illinois 173 and Caledonia Road.
65-year old Robert Butzow of Marengo died from chest injuries in the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The freightliner semi was driven by Thomas Fehrenbach of Ashton. He received treatment for minor injuries at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation by Boone County Sheriff'f police and the Coroner's office.
