The Byron High School Cheerleaders have advanced to the Finals today at the IHSA state event in Bloomington.
Byron had the 4th highest score yesterday in the preliminary round of the Small Team Division with an 83.78 figure.
Dwight High School had the highest score at 87.30.
The scores on Friday do not carry over to today's competition. Only 10 teams qualify for the finals.
The IHSA Cheerleading State Finals are being held at the US Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington.
