Chicago police say a 17-year-old from Dixon killed one man and tried to kill two others in Chicago's south side Park Manor neighborhood earlier this week. Quovadus Mahomes is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 27-year-old Devin Common and attempted murder for the wounding of two other men. Common was killed about four blocks from the alley where his younger brother was shot and killed 15 months earlier. Mahomes is due in court today.
