The corridor lighting design for the Hub City along with eliminating a fee for certain sign alterations tops the agenda tonight for officials in Rochelle. The council meeting begins at 7 at City Hall and is open to the public.
The corridor lighting proposal involves the Northern and Eastern Gateways to Rochelle. This would include streets lights on Route 38, Illinois 251, and Caron Road.
The city is looking at a pay back period of 12 years involving the new street lights.
Tonight's agenda also include a reduction in letters of credit for Coated Sand Soluttions who is located off Steward Road.
Once again, The Rochelle City Council meeting is open to the public.
