When state lawmakers return to Springfield, 1 major issue they will have to address is concealed carry which involves gun owners in Illinois.
The Courts have ordered both the House and Senate to pass a concealed carry law by June.
During this week's program "Let The People Know", Ogle County State's Attorney Mike Rock said he was favor of the law. Illinois is the only state not to pass legislation on the concealed carry issue.
Rock also agrees with Ogle County Sheriff Michael Harn that crime in the area will go down once the concealed law is passed by state lawmakers.
"Let The People Know" is heard on Wednesday afternoons at 12:30 on Newstalk 1060 and re-broadcast Saturday mornings at 6 on Newstalk 1060 and Sunday mornings at 6 on "The Coyote", 102.3FM.
Next week's guest will be Flagg-Rochelle Community Park District Executive Director Eric Christensen
