The debate over concealed carry in Illinois is heating up. The courts ordered lawmakers to pass a concealed carry law by June but Attorney General Lisa Madigan wants a rehearing on the case, which was originally filed by 73 year old Mary Shepherd. She was robbed and beaten inside her church back in 2009 and claims she would've been able to protect herself if she'd had a gun. Shepherd's attorney is asking the judge to reject Madigan's request for a rehearing, claiming she hasn't justified why a new hearing is necessary.
