Congratulations goes out to the RTHS competitive dance team who qualified this past weekend for state competition in Bloomington.
The "Chellettes" won the Class 1A Sectional held at Grayslake North High School. RTHS ended up with a score of 73.33. Lisle High School finished in 2nd place with a 59.90 total.
Winnebago High School came in 12th place.
RTHS qualified for the state competition this Friday and Saturday at the US Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington.
This is the 1st year that the IHSA had state competition in competitive dancing.
