A Marengo man suffered fatal injuries yesterday morning following a van vs bus crash in DeKalb County.
Pronounced dead at the scene was 37-year old Brian Hopper.
The accident took place a short time after 11:30am. Reports indicate that Hopper's van was west bound on Route 64 near Motel Road when it crossed the center line and struck the east bound shuttle bus west of Sycamore.
An Arizona man received treatment for injuries following the collision.
The accident remains under investigation by Dekalb County Sheriff's police and the Coroner's office.
