A Rochelle woman suffered injuries yesterday afternoon following a car vs semi-truck crash east of Rochelle on Route 38 at Mulford Road. The accident took place a short time after 12 noon.
The collision occurred between a vehicle driven by 26-year old Whitney Burtman of Rochelle and truck driver 55-year old Scott Houghton, also from Rochelle.
Burtman was transported by ambulance to Rochelle Community Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She also received a ticket for disobeying the stop sign on Mulford Road.
Houghton was not hurt in the accident.
