A funeral service will be held tomorrow morning for former Rochelle Police Chief Robbie Buck who passed away at his home early Sunday morning. He was 50 years old.
Buck, a graduate from Rochelle Township High School, announced his retirment from the department in September of 2009. He was named police Chief in February of 2006 and took over the department in May of that year.
He started with the Rochelle police department in 1995.
The funeral service for Buck will begin at 10:30 tomorrow morning at the Unger Horner funeral home in Rochelle. A visitation will take place today between 4 and 8 at the funeral home.
