The City of Rochelle Street Division is now offering free firewood to the community. A wood pile is located just south of the Lawnridge Cemetery at 20th Street and 8th Avenue.
Anyone interested in cutting firewood must first complete a waiver of liability. Waivers may be obtained at City Hall (420 N. 6th St.) or at the Street Division Office (251 E. 1st Ave.) or online at www.cityofrochelle.net. The waiver must be delivered to the City before obtaining firewood.
