The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says they haven't seen a flu season this bad, this early in nearly a decade. The CDC says the flu season is about five weeks ahead of schedule, and the worst is probably yet to come. The flu is now widespread in 41 states. As of the end of last week, nearly 23-hundred people were in the hospital with the flu and 18 children had died from complications.
