Bond remains at $100,000 for a Rochelle burglary suspect

Bond remains at $100,000 for a Rochelle man after being arrested last month in connection with recent burglaries which have taken place in Ogle County.

33-year old William Clark has been charged with 2 business burglaries in Chana, 1 business in Creston, and a home on Route 38 in rural Rochelle. He has also been charged with a burglary in the Ashton area by Lee County sheriff's police.

2 search warrants were executed at the Shangri-La Trailer Park in rural Rochelle. A large amount of stolen property was recovered from several businesses in Ogle County.

Clark plead not guilty to the charges yesterday in court during his preliminary hearing in Oregon. He also waived the proceedings and was given a pre-trial conference date of January 14th.

Clark remains in jail in lieu of bond.
