Village officials in Creston met in special session last night as several issues were approved on the agenda.
The board gathered due to the lack of a quorum on December 4th as no action could be taken.
The board approved the 2013 Tax Levy Ordinance along with insurance coverage for the village. The tax levy saw an increase of just under 5 percent while the insurance premiums went up by around $100.
The engineering work was approved for phase II of the safe routes to school program dealing with sidewalk work. The project will include Transit, Main, and South streets in Creston. The work is expected to be done next summer.
