A jury trial date has been set for February 25th of next year in the Baby Crystal case in Winnebago County.
32-year old Katie Stockton of Rockton has been charged in the murder of her baby nearly 8 years ago.
Stockton was arrested in August of 2009 after authorities said she left her newborn baby to freeze to death in December of 2004. The child was found along a rural road near Stockton's family home in Rockton.
DNA evidence indicated that she was the mother of the child.
Stockton has plead not guilty to the charges. She could face life in prison if convicted during the trial.
In an unrelated case, Winnebago County officials also found 2 additional infant girls decompaosed in the trunk of a car owned by Stockton.
