Bond remains at $150,000 for Davis teen in child abuse case

Bond remains at $150,000 for a Davis Junction teen following an alleged child abuse incident last Monday.

19-year old Jonathon Early has been charged with the felony offense of aggravated battery to a child and domestic battery.

The altercation took place in the Davis Junction area on Prairie Moon Drive. Early allegedly kicked and punched the 2-year old child at the residence. He also allegedly assaulted the child's mother.

The 2-year old was treated and released from Kishwaukee Community hospital in DeKalb for treatment of his injuries.

In court yesterday during his arraignment, Early was given a preliminary hearing date of December 19th. At that time, he will plead guilty or innocent to the charges.

Early remains in jail in lieu of the $150,000 bond.
