It's National Flu Vaccination Week as area and state health officials want people to get their shot in the near future.
During yesterday's program "Let The People Know", Ogle County Health Adninistrator, Doreen O'Brien, talked about the virus being in Northern Illinois early this year.
She said there is no particular reason why the virus is here in December.
"Let The People Know" is heard on Wednesday afternoons at 12:30 on Newstalk 1060 and re-broadcast Saturday mornings at 6 on Newstalk 1060 and Sunday mornings at 7 on 102.3FM.
