The City of Dixon has started to recover after millions of dollars were taken in a scam by a former employee.
The city's new finance director says that they have recovered about 3 million dollars since the money was taken over a 20-year period.
Former Dixon Comptroller Rita Crundwell has plead guilty to stealing more than 53 million dollars from the city. She was arrested last April and scheduled for a sentencing hearing in February.
Crundell's horses, which totaled over 400, along with her property has been sold during auctions in the past several months.
