McCullough's sentencing hearing delayed

The sentencing hearing was continued yesterday for a former Sycamore man after he was found guilty in the murder of a 7-year old girl in 1957.

73-year old Jack McCullough of Seattle, Washington was found guilty September 15th in the murder, kidnapping, and abduction of Maria Ridulph of Sycamore.

The sentencing hearing was continued due to a delay of pre-sentencing reports that did not get into the hands of the defense attorneys on time in the case.

McCullough was given a new sentencing hearing date of December 10th in Sycamore.

He plans to appeal the murder conviction in the future.
