Congressman Don Manzullo of Egan will have a new job when he leaves Congress on January 3rd. He will be working with the Korea Economic Institute in Washington D.C..
This is a nonprofit organization that deals with South Korean Economics. Manzullo will be the President and CEO of the group.
The area lawmaker was 1st elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1992. He has also been the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific since 2011.
Manzullo was defeated during the March primary election by Republican Adam Kinzinger who also won the general election earlier this month.
