Lawmakers have wrapped up their first week of veto session. It was a busy week in Springfield, with both the House and Senate taking up big issues. Both voted to move the special election to replace Jesse Jackson, Jr. to April 9th. They also passed a bill to increase license plate renewal fees by two bucks next year, bringing the total to 101-dollars. Other issues discussed this week, but didn't make it through both chambers, include a proposal for businesses to post tax information online, a proposal to give illegal immigrants driving rights, and an override of Governor Quinn's 56-million dollar veto from state prisons.
