Ogle County Sheriff's police continue to investigate a 2-vehicle head-on collision which took place on Thanksgiving morning which claimed the lives of 2 area residents.
28-year old Leslie Wallace of Oregon and 31-year old Christina Nave of Mt. Morris were pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred on Pines Road, just west of Oregon. Reports indicate that Wallace was traveling east bound on Pines Road when her vehicle struck a west bound auto driven by Nave.
The accident took place at around 9:30 in the morning.
