A lottery took place yesterday dealing with ballot positions in the Rochelle Consolidated City Election next year.
Incumbents Dave Eckhardt, Dan McDermott, and Kathy Hollonbeck all filed their petitions at the same time on November 19th.
The lottery yesterday determined that McDermott will be listed 1st on the ballot followed by Hollonbeck, and Eckhardt.
They were the only local residents that filed a petition for the Consolidated City Election on April 9th of 2013. There will be no primary election.
The 3 will run unopposed unless there is a write-in candidate or candidates next spring.
