The approval of the new fiscal year budget tops the agenda tonight for the Ogle County Board.
The meeting begins at 5:30 in the Oregon courthouse.
The General Fund totals 13.1 million dollars compared to the 12.6 million dollar figure a year ago. The increase includes salaries and insurance costs.
The Appropriation or the maximum number that could be spent totals 44.7 million dollars or just under 9 million dollars more than a year ago. Just over 10 million dollars of that figure is paying off the bonds for the Judicial Center in Oregon.
This evening's discussion will also include the Sheriff Department's Administration building, the cable contract with Comcast, and several speed zone changes for area roads in Ogle County.
Placques will also be given to the retiring Ogle County board members tonight.
