Park officials in Rochelle will meet in monthly session this evening at 6:30 with several items on the agenda. The gathering will take place in the Rochelle Council Chambers at City Hall.
The board will first hold a public hearing dealing with the sale of $750,000 in bonds. Park District Executive Director Eric Christensen said that the money will be used for capital improvements along with paying off the debt at the Hickory Grove facility.
The discussion will also include the cell phone policy for employees along with the approval of the tax levy for the district.
Park officials will meet in executive session to talk about the lease of land along with personnel.
Tonight's meeting at City Hall is open to the public.
