A gang member in Rockford will spend the next 70 years in prison for murder, even though he wasn't the trigger man. Ricardo Jaimes was a professed Latin King when a 16-year-old was killed in a gang-related shooting two years ago. The judge who sentenced Jaimes yesterday says even gang-members who aid and abet crimes must understand the repercussions of their activity. Jaimes' brother Isaac pulled the trigger but Jaimes was the driver in the attack. He was sentenced to 45 years for the first degree murder and 25 years or attempted murder on another rival gang member.
