Several Veteran Day programs and events will be take place today as we honor those individuals who have helped protect this country.
**Today: Rochelle Middle School: A ceremony sponsored by the Rochelle VFW and Ladies
Auxiliary at 10:30am on the west side of the building
**The program will be broadcast on Newstalk 1060 and wrhl.net at 10:30am
Rochelle Township High School:
**A Breakfast for area veterans at 8:45 in the Rochelle Commons area
**2 assemblies in the auditorium at 9:45 and 10:35
**Area veterans will talk with the students
Veteran day programs will also take place at Steward, Creston, Eswood, and Kings
Grade Schools
Oregon VFW Post 8739: Ceremony will take place at the post headquarters at 10:15am.
**A potluck luncheon will follow
