A Davis Junction man received a sentence of 2 years in prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to the felony offense of domestic battery.
Police arrested 35-year old Matthew Peeters on the felony offense following an altercation which took place in July of this year. The female victim was struck in the face during the confrontation.
Peeters was charged with the felony offense after he was convicted of domestic battery in another case in Ogle County in June of this year.
