Governor Quinn is taking a ride on the state's new high speed rail line today. He'll go from Joliet to Bloomington on the Amtrak train, which normally travels at about 80 miles per hour. But it'll speed up today once it hits Dwight, and travel at about 110-miles per hour between there and Pontiac. That's the 15-mile test run for the high speed rail. U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood will be along for the ride.
