The Ogle County Board will meet this evening at 5:30 at the Courthouse in Oregon with several issues to discuss.
The agenda includes the possibility of constructing a new Sheriff's Department administration building, the holiday schedule for county workers, and a Resolution dealing with concealed weapons for residents in the state. Illinois is the only state not to have this law.
The Long Range Planning Committee had planned to talk with 6 area architects at no cost to the county dealing with the new administration building for the sheriff's department. This is the 1st step for the project.
This evening meeting is open to the public in Oregon.
