A Rochelle man was back in Ogle County court yesterday for an arraignment after he allegedly stole a hay bailer from a farm in rural Chana this week.
29-year old Nathan Stinnett was arrested last Tuesday for the felony offense of burglary.
The hay bailer was stolen on Monday from the farm. It was later located at a scrap yard in Byron.
Stinnett returns to court on October 31st for a status hearing in Oregon.
He also has a drug case pending in Ogle County court. Stinnett was arrested last April on the felony offense of unlawful possession of cannabis, over 500 grams, along with production of marijuana sativa plants.
Rochelle police found 17 cannabis sativa plants and manufacturing equipment in a 20-foot rail container in the 13,000 block of east Route 38.
Stinnett returns to court on the drug charges also on October 31st for a preliminary hearing.
He is out of jail after posting 10 percent of the $30,000 bond on Thursday.
