The U.S. Supreme Court says it will not hear a complaint by Illinois Republicans over recent redistricting. Foes of redistricting say the maps were unconstitutional and were altered in a way to benefit Democrats during the upcoming elections. The high court didn't provide a reason for its decision. Every decade political boundaries are redrawn according to new information gleaned from the U.S. Census.
