The city of Rochelle, Kishwaukee Community College in Malta along with Rochelle Township High School and Gredco have announced a new program begins today called "Kish Career Link".
Known as KCL, it is a web-based career planning and exploration tool which will connect high school and community college students with area employers.
KCL will enhance Career Cruising which is currently being used by over 4,000 students in Ogle and DeKalb counties and over 1 million people nationwide.
Companies in the area believe that "Kish Career Link" will give them the opportunity to connect with an untapped group of future job hunters.
The Quad Cities area recently implemented the program along with the state of North Carolina.
Several businesses in Rochelle along with the city donated funds to get the program started for the 1st 3 years. If you would like additional information, call Gredco at 562-7595.
