A high school football player is dead after collapsing on the field yesterday. Spring Valley Police say the 17-year old Hall High student collapsed just after noon during a non-contact agility drill. He was pronounced dead at St. Margaret's Hospital. Yesterday was the first official day of practice for the fall sports season.
