Rochelle City Clerk Bruce McKinney would like to remind local residents that petitions for the Consolidated Primary Election next year can be circulated starting on August 28th.
There are 3 council positions that will be on the ballot. The terms for City Official Dave Eckhardt, Kathy Hollonbeck, and Dan McDermott will be coming to an end next year.
Petitions and supporting documents can be picked up at the City Clerk's office Monday through Friday between 8am and 4:30pm.
The petitions can be filed no earlier than 8am on November 19th and no later than 5pm on November 26th.
The Consolidated Election will be held on April 9th of 2013.
The Consolidated Primary Election will take place in Rochelle on February 26th, 2013 if there are 13 or more candidates on the ballot.
