Bond remains at $50,000 for 2 Rochelle men who allegedly set on car on fire last month in the Hub City.
22-year old Joshua Terry and 35-year old Jason Rivera have been charged with the felony offense of arson.
The incident took place during the early morning hours of June 22nd as the vehicle was parked at 1019 Avenue "E" in Rochelle. Local Police say that a side window was broken and the front seat of the car set on fire.
The officer on the scene was able to put the flames out with an extiguisher before fire crews arrived at the location.
The incident appears to be gang related.
In court yesterday, both Terry and Rivera plead not guilty to the felony offense. Probable cause was found in Terry's case while Rivera waived his preliminary hearing. Both men are scheduled to return to court on July 23rd for a jury status proceeding.
Terry and Rivera remain in jail in lieu of the $50,000 bond.
