Ogle County Officials say that an Oregon man died from smoke inhallation and burns after he was found dead in a garage fire last May.
Authorities say that 59-year old Patrick Riley was intoxicated when the blaze began at 605 Monroe Street in Oregon. His blood alcohol content was .119.
Oregon Police report there was no foul play from the incident. The cause of the fire remains unknown as of this time.
The garage was engulfed in flames when emergency personnel arrived on the scene. Riley was the only person at home when the fire began. He was identified through dental records.
The manner of death remains undetermined at this time.
