City officials in Rochelle met last night as the majority of the discussion took place behind closed doors due to a light agenda.
The council talked about the job City Manager David Plyman has done over the past year. Plyman began his job in the Hub City on May 31st, 2011. He was not present at the meeting last night.
No final decisions were made public following the executive session which lasted about 1 hour.
City officials did approve the purchase of equipment for a new street department truck at a cost of $55,700.
They also approved a request from Dairy Queen involving their Cruise Night on July 21st. Many older model cars will be part of the event.
