Bond remains at $50,000 for 2 Rochelle men after they were arrested for allegedly setting a car on fire last Friday morning in the Hub City.
22-year old Joshua Terry and 35-year old Jason Rivera have been charged with the felony offense of arson.
They both appeared in Ogle County Court yesterday for a hearing.
The incident took place during the early morning hours as the vehicle was parked at 1019 Avenue "E". Police say that a side window was broken and the front seat of the car was set on fire.
The officer on the scene was able to put the flames out with an extinguisher.
The incident may be gang related.
Terry and Rivera return to court on Friday for an arraignment. Both remain in jail in lieu of bond.
