An agreement has been reached between officials from the Rochelle Little League and the Flagg-Rochelle Community Park District dealing with a new contract involving facilities in the Hub City.
The Little League was 1 of several organizations that the park district is talking to dealing with a new contract. The current agreement this year has not changed since 1995.
Park District Executive Director Eric Christensen said the contract has been signed by both parties.
Future agreements are expected with the AYSO program, Rochelle Junior Tackle Football, along with the Rochelle Slow Pitch Softball Association, and the Rochelle Aguilas Baseball Team.
Christensen said there could be a small charge in using the park facilities in the future with these organizations. It would mostly deal with clean-up costs.
