The Chicago Rockford International Airport had a special visitor Sunday. The Prime Minister of Turkey had his plane stop for about an hour to get some fuel.
The group was flying to the G20 summit in Cabo San Lucas.
Turkish Airlines is 1 of several companies that has used the Rockford airport involving high security stops.
The Rockford Police Department along with the U.S Secret Service were involved with the security at the airport yesterday morning.
The Turkish plane was on the ground for about an hour during the refueling process.
