A Winnebago County Grand Jury has indicted an Oregon man in connection with a 2-car crash last October that claimed the lives of a Rockford couple.
21-year old Brett Alexander has been charged with 3 counts of reckless homicide and aggravated reckless driving. He's also been charged with 2 counts of aggravated driving while under the influence of drugs which resulted in death.
Killed in the accident were 73-year old Ronald Young of Rockford along with his 72-year old wife Darlene.
The collision took place on October 2nd of last year in the 6900 block of South Main street in Rockford.
Young was traveling North bound while Alexander was South bound prior to the crash.
Alexander remains in the Winnebago County Jail in lieu of a $200,000 bond. He appears in court on Monday for a hearing.
