Park officials in Rochelle will meet in special session next Thursday as they will gather at the Cooper Park Shelter.
The discussion will center around renovation work in the future for both Cooper and Atwood Parks.
During this week's program "Let The People Know", Flagg-Rochelle Community Park District Executive Director Eric Christensen talked about some of the ideas for the 2 areas.
The park district also plans to improve restroom facilities and the playground equipment at Cooper Park. The Bnad Shell will also be used more in the future at Atwood Park.
Christensen also talked about some future plans at Skare Park off Flagg Road in rural Rochelle which include disc golf and projects in the wooded areas.
