DeKalb County officials say that a crow has tested positive for West Nile Virus.
The bird was found on May 22nd.
West Nile Virus is transmitted through the bite of an infected mosquito. It got infected from the bird.
There have been no human cases of the West Nile Virus in Illinois so far this year.
