Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker still has his job. Republican Walker survived a recall election, defeating Milwaukee Democratic Mayor Tom Barrett last night. The recall was prompted by Walker's battles with public sector unions and his efforts to limit collective bargaining rights. The election was a rematch between Walker and Barrett. Expected Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney congratulated Walker on surviving the recall. In a statement, Romney says the results will echo beyond Wisconsin.
